External Consultation

Please note that the external consultation is now closed.

The outcome report D4.1 is available on the Library page.

This page is dedicated to the consultation promoted by the P4ITS Thematic Network to trigger the discussion between network partners and external stakeholders on the topic of Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI).

The purpose of this consultation is twofold:

  1. to perform a reality check on the results of a first analysis carried out by P4ITS summarised in a Discussion paper issued by P4ITS, which can be downloaded by clicking here,
  2. to receive information from stakeholders about their experience with public procurement and with PPI in particular, as well as on specific aspects related to the (cooperative) ITS sector. Therefore the second part of this consultation is a Questionnaire to which you can participate by clicking here.

The results of the questionnaire will be presented and discussed in a workshop to be held in Vienna on the 20 May 2015 (10:00 – 16:00 CET). This will give stakeholders an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and reflect on the first results of the P4ITS analysis summarising the outcome and lessons learned from this Discussion paper & Questionnaire. In addition, it will be also the opportunity to engage in a debate on PPI priority aspects and enablers, which could be effectively addressed through a concerted approach.

The results of this consultation will be integrated in a Guidelines / Recommendations paper to be published by P4ITS and will be presented in October 2015 at the ITS World Congress in Bordeaux in front of a large and distinguished audience.

Thank you in advance for your time and contribution to this consultation!
